The Profit Scanner app and profitscanner.xyz (together, “the service”) are provided by PMT Technology (“we”, “us”). By using the service, you acknowledge and accept this disclaimer. It forms part of the Terms of Use.

Information only, not investment advice

• The data, charts, analysis and other content of the service are provided for informational and educational purposes only. They are not investment advice, and not a recommendation or an offer to buy or sell any security or digital asset.
• PMT Technology is not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, or financial adviser in any jurisdiction, and does not hold itself out as one.
• Alerts, buy and sell signals, and screener results are produced automatically by formulas and technical calculations, many of them written by you. A signal only means that a formula’s condition was met; it is not a recommendation.
• Nothing in the service guarantees a profit.

Market risk

Trading and investing involve high risk: you can lose part or all of the money you commit. The information in the service is compiled from sources we believe to be reliable, including exchanges and other third parties. We do not guarantee that it is accurate, complete, current or timely. Data may be delayed, contain errors, or be corrected later; verify it independently, for example with your broker or exchange, before acting on it.

Alerts may arrive late or not at all, for reasons that include network conditions, platform notification limits, and the battery optimisation settings on your own device. The service may be changed, interrupted or discontinued at any time.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, PMT Technology is not liable for any loss, including financial loss from trading or investment decisions, arising from:

• the use of, or reliance on, any information, alert, signal or other content of the service;
• errors, omissions, delays or interruptions in the data or the service;
• data or services provided by third parties.

Nothing in this disclaimer limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.

Your responsibility

You agree to indemnify PMT Technology against claims, losses and costs, including reasonable legal fees, that arise from your breach of the Terms of Use or your misuse of the service, for example redistributing alerts or charts to other people.

The portfolio balance is not real money

The values in the app’s portfolio tracking are entered by users themselves. They are a personal record only: not money in any account, and not verified by us. A screenshot of a balance, a profit or a portfolio from the app is not proof of real profit.

Beware of fraud

Profit Scanner never asks you to transfer money to us outside Google Play, never manages anyone’s funds, and never runs paid signal groups. Anyone who does so in our name, or who shows screenshots from the app as proof of profit in order to attract your money, is not acting for us.

We may change this disclaimer at any time, and changes take effect when they are posted on this page. The version posted here, with its date, is the one that applies and replaces all earlier versions. By continuing to use the service after a change, you accept the changed disclaimer.
