Terms of Use

These terms apply to the Profit Scanner app and to profitscanner.xyz, both provided by PMT Technology (“we”, “us”). By using either, you agree to these terms.

Your account

An account is for one person. You are responsible for what is done with your account, and for keeping the credentials you sign in with secure.

Personal use only

The market data, charts, screener and alert results, and other content you receive through the app are for your own personal use. They are provided to your account only; that right cannot be transferred to anyone else.

No redistribution

You may not share what you receive with other people. In particular, you may not copy, forward, re-post, publish, sell or otherwise pass on:

• alerts and notifications generated for your account;
• charts, screener results and other output produced by the app;
• market data obtained through the app, in bulk or systematically.

Showing a single chart to a friend is not what this clause is about. Running a paid signal channel on the back of your subscription is.

Subscriptions and billing

Premium features are sold as in-app purchases through Google Play. Google, not PMT Technology, is the merchant of record: Google takes the payment, issues the receipt, and handles refunds under its own policies.

• Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel them.
• Cancel in the Play Store, not in the app. Deleting your account does not cancel billing.
• Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period already paid for.
• Refund requests go to Google Play in the first instance.

Fair use

The service is provided for interactive use by a person. You may not:

• use automated means to extract data from the service in bulk;
• attempt to bypass rate limits, access controls or the subscription gate;
• interfere with the operation of the service or the accounts of other users;
• reverse engineer the app except where that right cannot be excluded by law.

Availability

We aim to keep the service running, but we do not guarantee that it will be available without interruption. Features may be changed, suspended or discontinued, and market data may be delayed, incomplete or temporarily unavailable.

Not investment advice

Everything the service provides is information, not advice. See the Disclaimer, which forms part of these terms.

Breach of these terms

If you break these terms, we may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice depending on the seriousness of the breach. Where the breach is redistribution of content, we may do so immediately.

Termination for breach does not entitle you to a refund of a subscription already paid.

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms at any time, and changes take effect when they are posted on this page. The version posted here, with its date, is the one that applies and replaces all earlier versions. By continuing to use the service after a change, you accept the changed terms.
